asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies (1) whether the report of the Commission of Inquiry into the disturbances in Uganda in April has yet been received; in what form the findings and evidence will be made public; and if he will make a statement;
(2) what was the composition of the Commission of Inquiry into the disturbances in Uganda this year; and how many Africans were members of this body.

The Commissioner of Inquiry is the late President of the West African Court of Appeal. His 1863 report has not yet been received. My right hon. Friend is consulting the Governor as to the form of publication.
