§ Mr. ShinwellI am not aware of any recent increase in the annual rental of married officers' quarters. Since 1st July, 1946, the annual quartering charge for a major occupying a married officer's quarter has been £100 furnished or £70 unfurnished.
§ Brigadier HeadI have a letter containing a categorical statement about a recent increase, which I will forward to the right hon. Gentleman if he would like to see it?
§ Mr. ShinwellI should be very glad to have it. I am not aware of any increase in the rental.
