§ 24. Mr. Daggarasked the Minister of Labour if he will state the number of persons, male and female separately, on the disabled persons' register; and the number of such persons registered as unemployed at the latest available date in each of the 11 regions in Great Britain.

§ Following is the answer:
§ At 17th January, 1949, there were 913,340 persons registered under the Disabled Persons (Employment) Act, 1944. This figure included 840,366 males and 72,974 females.
§ At 21st February, 1949, the numbers of unemployed registered disabled persons in each Region were as follow:
