§ Mr. GaitskellNo exact estimate can be made, but I am satisfied that the amount of petrol obtained through forged coupons did not exceed 20 tons a week at the beginning of June last and has since decreased considerably as a result of the action taken. Comparable figures for 1946 and 1947 are not available.
