§ 50. Sir John Mellorasked the Minister of Food if he will give an assurance that no retailer of any rationed food will be prosecuted under S.I., 1948, No. 2319, for employing in a managerial capacity a scheduled person, where his employment has received the consent of the Ministry of Labour in accordance with the Control of Engagement Order.
§ Mr. StracheyThe possibility of such a prosecution does not arise because people taking an engagement in a managerial capacity do not need the consent of the Ministry of Labour under the Control of Engagement Order.
