HC Deb 24 November 1948 vol 458 c1215
1. Sir Ronald Ross

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Civil Aviation whether he is aware that the buildings at the civil airport terminus at Nutt's Corner in Northern Ireland are inadequate, unsuitable and unworthy of such a place; and when proper buildings will be provided.

The Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Civil Aviation (Mr. Lindgren)

Yes, Sir. Passengers will, however, be using a new adequate, suitable and workmanlike interim building from the end of this week.

Sir R. Ross

Will the Northern Ireland Advisory Council have any responsibility for the upkeep of this terminus?

Mr. Lindgren

No, Sir, that is the responsibility of the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
