asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he has considered the communication sent to him by the Abercarn Urban Area Chamber of Trade; and if he will state the nature of his reply.

May I ask my right hon. and learned Friend if his reply has been framed to meet the desires of these people who are responsible for sending the letter?
