asked the Minister of Supply which of the companies listed in the Third Schedule of the Iron and Steel Bill have wholly-owned subsidiaries in overseas countries.

As certain subsidiaries of Third Schedule companies are registered overseas, particulars of the ownership of their share capital are not readily available, and my information as to wholly-owned subsidiaries may therefore be incomplete. I will, with the hon. Member's permission, circulate in the OFFICIAL REPORT the names of those companies which, according to my present information, have wholly-owned overseas subsidiaries.
