HC Deb 08 November 1948 vol 457 c1265
48. Mr. Hurd

asked the Minister of Agriculture how many farmers are classified "C" at the present time; and how many of these are under supervision within the terms of the Agriculture Act, 1947.

The Joint Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Agriculture (Mr. George Brown)

Three hundred and fifty—six farmers have so far been placed under supervision orders under the Agriculture Act, 1947.
