asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department to what extent he has stopped the demolition of shelters from air attack.

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what instructions have been sent to local authorities as to the continued demolition of air-raid shelters.

Local authorities have been instructed to suspend all shelter demolition for the time being, though certain exceptions are being allowed, where necessary, in the public interest.
