§ 49. Mr. Boyd-Carpenterasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will arrange for the issue of tobacco duty relief tokens to a 90-years-old old age pensioner, particulars of whom have been forwarded to him, notwithstanding the fact that this gentleman's old age pension is paid direct to the Surrey County Council.
§ Sir S. CrippsThe matter has been further investigated and I understand that the gentleman concerned has now made an application for a pension which, if granted, will entitle him to tobacco tokens if application is made to the Post Office at which he draws his pension.
