Lindsayasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will give instructions that no visas are to be granted to enable the U.S.S.R. to send competitors or an observer to the Olympic Games unless they are prepared meanwhile to allow the Soviet-born wives of British citizens to come to this country.
§ Mr. EdeI cannot think that the measure suggested would help to achieve the object which the hon. Member has in mind.
