HC Deb 06 May 1948 vol 450 c1441
66. Mr. Renton

asked the Minister of Health how many houses are due to be completed in Hunts during 1948; and what percentage of them are likely to be occupied by agricultural workers.

Mr. Bevan

I would refer the hon. Member to the reply which I gave to his Question on 19th February.

Mr. Renton

Is the Minister aware that this is an entirely different Question and that the local authorities and the National Farmers' Union in Huntingdonshire are very concerned as to what plans they are to make for the future of farming there because they just do not know the future housing programme? Will he endeavour to enlighten those who are concerned?

Mr. Bevan

If the hon. Gentleman will look at my reply, he will see that it is exactly apposite to his Question.
