Mr. Skinnardasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he will give details of the recently formed Cameroons Mining Corporation; and what are the terms of the articles of agreement with the London Tin Company in respect of the return to the company in the event of prospecting proving successful.
§ Mr. Rees-WilliamsThe Corporation is not yet in being but is to have an initial capital of £60,000 and is to carry out mineral prospecting in the Cameroons. The Government of Nigeria and the London Tin Corporation will both participate, voting control resting with the Government of Nigeria, which will also appoint the Chairman and 50 per cent. of the other directors. As regards the second part of the Question, arrangements 1251 for working deposits discovered by the prospecting Company will be a matter for discussion with the London Tin Corporation.
