§ 30. Mr. Willisasked the Secretary of State for Scotland in which journals the post of Press officer to the Scottish Home Department was advertised prior to the appointment recently made.
§ Mr. WoodburnParticulars of the recent vacancy for a press officer were, in accordance with normal procedure, circulated by the appointments office of the Ministry of Labour and National Service to appointment offices throughout the country. Thereafter, owing to the lack of suitable candidates on their register, the appointments office advertised the vacancy in the "Scotsman" and the "Glasgow Herald."
