44. Mr. Kenneth Lindsay

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs who are to represent His Majesty's Government at the forthcoming meeting of the Economic and Social Council.

Mr. Bevin

The United Kingdom delegation to the meeting of the Economic and Social Council in July next will be led by my right hon. Friend the Minister of State. He will be supported by a small delegation of officials drawn from the United Kingdom Delegation at New York, the Foreign Office and the Ministry of Labour.

Mr. Lindsay

Will my right hon. Friend see that whoever goes gives sympathetic consideration to the subject of the four previous Questions put by hon. Members on all sides of the Houses?—I mean the Questions about the United Nations appeal for Children.
