asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether, in view of the forthcoming Debate on the European Recovery Programme and of the interest of hon. Members in European economic affairs, he will arrange for the Survey of the Economic Situation and Prospects of Europe, recently published by the Research and Planning Division of the Economic Commission for Europe, to be made available to hon. Members, on application, as a non-Parliamentary paper.

No, Sir, I regret that we must continue only to issue to hon. Members the publications of His Majesty's Government. Copies of the report mentioned by my hon. and gallant Friend are already in the Library.

Is my right hon. Friend aware that there is only one copy available in the Library, and that that is barely adequate for 640 Members?

In that case I shall see that an adequate supply is put there. I did not realise there was only one copy. I shall see that more are supplied at the earliest possible moment.
