HC Deb 24 June 1948 vol 452 c1537
15. Mr. Skeffington-Lodge

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether in the case of German civilian workers employed in the country, he will arrange facilities for their families to join them where British employers are willing to provide accommodation.

Mr. Ede

If, as I assume, my hon. Friend is referring to the German ex-prisoners of war who have been discharged to civilian status in this country to work in agriculture, I would refer him to the reply given to the hon. Member for Dumfries (Mr. N. Macpherson) on 27th January.
