1. Mr. Baker Whiteasked the Minister of Fuel and Power at what price coke is being offered to Denmark per ton f.o.b.; and what orders have been placed by that country.
§ The Minister of Fuel and Power (Mr. Gaitskell)Commercial arrangements were agreed a few days ago between the Danish Coal Import Association and the British Coke Directorate and the Gas Coke Export Association for the export of 130,000 tons of gas coke to Denmark. Orders are now being placed by Danish importers with British exporters for this quantity. I have no information as to the prices which have been agreed in these commercial arrangements.
