asked the Minister of National Insurance what steps he proposes to take to disseminate copies of the Welsh handbook on the National Insurance Acts prepared by his Department.

Copies of the Welsh Family Guide have been sent to all post offices, to the local offices of my Department in Wales and also to the offices of the Ministry of Labour and National Service, the Assistance Board and citizens advice bureaux. Copies are also available at meetings held throughout Wales to explain the new scheme. If my hon. Friend knows of any difficulty in obtaining copies perhaps he would let me have the details.

While thanking my right hon. Friend for his reply, may I ask whether he is prepared to consider supplying copies of this handbook to the education authorities in Wales for distribution to the primary and secondary schools?

I shall be quite prepared to consider that suggestion.

Can the Minister say how many of these copies have been printed in Welsh?
