Mr. Scott-Elliotasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he is aware that the order issued by the U.S.S.R. on 24th June interdicting the 1172 storing of food for the Western Sector of Berlin within the U.S.S.R. Sector means in effect that cold storage is now impossible because all refrigerator plant lies within the U.S.S.R. Sector; and what steps he is taking to meet this difficulty.
