HC Deb 12 July 1948 vol 453 c828

The following Question stood upon the Order Paper in the name of Mr. GEORGE THOMAS:

32. To ask the Minister of Transport whether he is aware of the danger to the large number of children from the Hywel Ddu junior school, Cardiff, in crossing the main Cowbridge Road, Ely, Cardiff, going to and from school; whether he will cause the speed restrictions sign to be moved a further half mile outwards from the city; and whether he is satisfied that sufficient indication is given to motorists of the danger in this area.

Mr. W. R. Williams

On a point of Order. For the sake of accuracy, Mr. Speaker, should not "Hywel Ddu," in Question No. 32, be "Hywel Dda," meaning "Hywel the Good" and not "Hywel the Black"?

Mr. Speaker

That Question has not yet been asked.
