§ 38. Air-Commodore Harveyasked the Minister of Labour how many of the West Indians who recently arrived in this country from Jamaica have been found employment in industry and in the Fighting Services.
§ Mr. IsaacsOf the 242 who have been accommodated at Clapham, 17 left of their own accord and 173 have been placed. There remain 52, most of whom came later than the main body; 32 of these are under submission for employment. Five of those who went to the Servicemen's club at Wimpole Street have been accepted by the Fighting Services.
