HC Deb 06 July 1948 vol 453 c194
33. Mr. Swingler

asked the Minister of Labour what is the number and proportion of disabled men in the Polish Resettlement Corps; and what are the proportions of men aged over 40 and over 50 years respectively.

The Minister of Labour (Mr. Isaacs)

The number of men in the Polish Resettlement Corps who have so far registered as disabled persons is 1,300, or about 4.7 per cent. of the total. On 3rd April, the latest date for which statistics of age are available, about half the men in the Corps were over 36 and rather more than one-tenth over 50.
