Mr. Donnerasked the Minister of Health whether he has now been consulted by the Metropolitan Water Board 208 on the proposed flooding of the Enborne Valley in order to create a reservoir; and if he will confer with the Minister of Town and Country Planning, the Minister of Agriculture and the Minister of Transport on the serious consequences involved.

Friend has been consulted informally about the procedure the Board must follow if they decide to apply for powers under the water Acts. I can assure the hon.
