§ 42. Mr. McAdamasked the Minister of Fuel and Power if he will inquire into the refuse dumps adjoining what were once coal pits, in the Dairy area of Ayrshire, with a view to ascertaining what dross can be salvaged from those dumps, and sol for industrial use, either at home or abroad.
§ Mr. GaitskellSo far as I have been able to ascertain, none of the dumps in this area contain dross that could usefully be salvaged and sold to industry, either at home or abroad. If, however, my hon. Friend has information about any particular dumps, and will let me have details, I will be glad to have further inquiries made.
