Member for West Bristol (Mr. Stanley) to use some such words as:the annual report shall be full and prompt. The words proposed in the Amendment are thought by the Parliamentary counsel to be the most suitable, and I hope they meet the point raised by the right hon. Member for West Bristol.
§ Mr. StanleyWe on this side of the House are extremely obliged to the right hon. Gentleman for this Amendment. In Committee, he made it clear that his intentions in regard to this matter were the 126 same as our desires, and I think the words now chosen are better not only than those in the original Bill but, in order to carry out our intentions, than the words we put down.
§ Amendment agreed to.
