§ 25. Captain Bullockasked the Minister of Education whether he is aware of the difficulties experienced in obtaining an adequate supply of French films suitable for showing in schools in this country; and what action he is taking to assist in this matter.
§ Mr. TomlinsonI am not aware of any special difficulties. The Ministry is at present negotiating with the French authorities with a view to an exchange of educational films between the two countries.
§ Captain BullockIs the right hon. Gentleman aware that the majority of schools which ask for French educational films obtain only old-fashioned films, which are scratched and worn?
§ Mr. TomlinsonIf they will bring their requirements to the notice of the section of my Department which deals with this matter it will assist in the negotiations which are taking place.
