§ 39. Mr. Dribergasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he will make a statement on the recent escape from internment in Germany of Fritz Kuhn, former leader of the German-American Bund; and how soon this man is to be brought to trial.
§ Mr. BevinFritz Kuhn escaped from Dachau internment camp in the United States Zone of Germany on 3rd February, 1946. I understand that he had been interned by order of the German denazification authorities pending his appearance before a denazification tribunal. When he is recaptured, it will be for the German authorities to decide how and when his case shall be heard.
