§ 39. Mr. Skinnardasked the Minister of Health how many infirm aged people in England and Wales are listed by the various county welfare departments as awaiting admission to institutions; and what steps are being taken to provide additional accommodation for such cases.
§ Mr. BevanNumbers are not at present available but I have asked local authorities to include them in the schemes which they are now preparing under the National Assistance Ac and which will contain their plans for providing additional accommodation.
