§ The Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Fuel and Power (Mr. Robens)Poles are allocated quarterly in bulk by the Ministry to Area Electricity Boards, who themselves decide where they shall be used. I understand, however, that allocations are now sufficient to meet present requirements. My Ministry is not responsible for the sub-allocations of any other materials which it is within the discretion of the boards to order and use.
