§ If in the case of a person sentenced uncles the Section (Suspension of death penalty) of this Act to imprisonment for life the Secretary of State is satisfied, after considering a report as to the mental condition of that person by two duly qualified medical practitioners appointed by the Secretary of State for the purpose, and any other material circumstances, that that person ought to be removed to a Broadmoor institution, the Secretary of State may order him to be removed to and detained in such an institution; and the Criminal Lunatics Act, 1884, shall apply to any person so removed as if he were a Broadmoor patient.—[Mr. S.
