asked the Minister of Transport whether, in view of the impossibility of obtaining sufficient rubber tyres or suitable steel rims, he will suspend the operation of the Order prohibiting farm tractors with wheel rims less than 2½ inches wide from using the highway after 31st May, 1948.

Mr. Barnes

Yes, Sir. I propose to continue the present relaxation for a further year.
