HC Deb 08 April 1948 vol 449 c334
9. Mr. Granville Sharp

asked the Minister of Health why it is proposed to increase the clerical staff of the superannuation division of his Department from 30 to 166; and whether, in planning the new work involved, he has sought and accepted the advice of the Organisation and Methods Division of the Treasury.

Mr. Bevan

This increased staff is needed to administer the superannuation scheme for the large body of staff to be transferred when the National Health Service comes into operation next July. In planning this new work the advice of the Organisation and Methods Division of the Treasury has been taken.
