§ Mr. M. StewartThere are at present approximately 46,000 prisoners of war in the Middle East, of whom the majority are in Egypt. Prisoners of war from the Middle East are being repatriated at an average rate of about 5,000 a month. Their repatriation is expected to be completed in October.
