Major Bruceasked the Minister of Pensions whether he is aware that the Limb Fitting Centre at Portsmouth is in urgent need of renovation, improvement and extension; and whether he will state the nature and extent of any improvements contemplated or any proposals for the acquisition of alternative premises.
§ Mr. BlenkinsopThe hon. and gallant Member will be pleased to learn that work has already started on the erection of a hut adjacent to the regional office premises at 77, Elm Grove. The hut will be specially adapted for use as a limb fitting centre, and it is anticipated that it will be ready for occupation early in the New Year.
