§ The Minister of Education (Mr. Tomlinson)It is not for me to recommend books for use by teachers: the selection of books is a matter for the teachers themselves and for the school authorities.
§ Sir P. HannonIs the right hon. Gentleman aware of the importance of bringing the resources of the Colonial Empire into contact with primary and secondary schools in this country, and has his attention been called to a very interesting volume recently produced by Sir Drummond Shiels, Public Relations Officer to the Post Office, which would be very valuable in our schools?
§ Mr. TomlinsonThat is a very different matter from recommending. I can bring it to their notice without recommending it.
