§ Mr. IsaacsThe staff at Nottingham Regional Appointments Office which is engaged on the administration of the Further Education and Training Scheme, the Business Training Scheme, and careers advice in addition to placing work, totals 67. The estimated annual cost of salaries is £30,000, and all other charges, including rent, rates and miscellaneous expenses, are estimated at £4,000. In the three months ended 10th November, 1947, the Appointments Office placed 149 persons in employment.
