Gentleman will agree that it is desirable that the House be kept informed as far as possible of any developments in the Indian situation as they arise. While I do not press for anything today, I should be glad if he will represent to his right bon. Friend the Leader of the House that we shall be glad if a statement can be made at the earliest convenient opportunity.
