Amendment made; In page 114, line 2, at end, insert: (2) This Act shall come into force on the appointed day: Provided that—

  1. (a) Sections two and three of this Act; and
  2. (b) the provisions of Part IV of this Act relating to the assessment of compensation for the compulsory acquisition of land; and
  3. (c) Subsection (2) of Section thirty-five of this Act and Subsection (2) of Section thirty-six of this Act, and any other provisions of the said Part IV which relate to the acquisition of land under either of those Subsections;
shall come into force on the date of the passing of this Act."—[Mr. Silkin.]
