Mr. Dribergasked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster if he is aware that exports of coal from Poland in 1946 totalled 15,003,000 tons, including 2,180,000 tons to Sweden, 596.000 tons to France, 733,000 tons to Denmark, and 542,000 tons to the Soviet zone of Germany; and whether he is taking steps to obtain coal from this source for use in the British zone of Germany.
§ The Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster (Mr. John Hynd)I am aware of these Polish exports. The British zone is an exporting, and not an importing area so far as coal is concerned.
