§ 24. Major Mott-Radclyffeasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether an office of the British Council has yet been established in Sofia.
Mr. McNeilSince the hon. and gallant Member's Question on this subject on 25th November, staff have been selected. Arrangements are now being made with the Bulgarian Government to open an office in the very near future.
§ Mr. MackWould my right hon. Friend take reasonable care to see that the personnel of this staff are fair, clear-minded and objective, and the type of people who will report to him the true position as it exists in Bulgaria?
Mr. McNeilIf my hon. Friend will take the trouble to read the Question he will see that it refers to the staff of the British Council.
