27. Mr. Dumpleton

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies when he expects the next Report of the Comptroller for Development and Welfare in the West Indies to be published.

Mr. Creech Jones

I expect to receive the third biennial report of the Comptroller for Development and Welfare in the West Indies at the end of this month. Allowing for printing, I hope the Report will be available to the public about the end of May.

Is it not two years since the last Report was received?

This is a two-yearly Report.
