The following price increases and adjustments have been approved by the Government:

LIVESTOCK.—Price increases for the year 1st April, 1947 to 31st March, 1948:

Milk: An average increase of five-sixteenths of 1d. per gallon to be applied with special emphasis on the late summer and winter months.

Fat Steers, Heifers and Cow Heifers An overall average increase of 3s. 6d. per live cwt.

Fat Sheep and Lambs (excluding ewes and rams): An overall average increase of 1d. per lb. dead weight.

Fat Pigs (excluding sows, boars and stags): An increase of 2S. per score for clean pigs
