§ The following price increases and adjustments have been approved by the Government:
§ LIVESTOCK.—Price increases for the year 1st April, 1947 to 31st March, 1948:
§ Milk: An average increase of five-sixteenths of 1d. per gallon to be applied with special emphasis on the late summer and winter months.
§ Fat Steers, Heifers and Cow Heifers An overall average increase of 3s. 6d. per live cwt.
§ Fat Sheep and Lambs (excluding ewes and rams): An overall average increase of 1d. per lb. dead weight.
§ Fat Pigs (excluding sows, boars and stags): An increase of 2S. per score for clean pigs
