Mr. Medlicottasked the Minister of Health if he is aware that the drainage and sewerage arrangements at Martham, in Norfolk, appear to be below the standard aimed at by his Department;, and if he will cause an investigation to be made with a view to recommending some improvements, both of a short-term and long-term character.
§ Mr. BevanI am aware of the need for improvement. The Blofield and Flegg Rural District Council have prepared a scheme for the area which has been considered by the County Council. I am inviting the former to submit the scheme to me for investigation.
