I beg to move, in page 48, line 19, to leave out from "compensation," to end of line 21, and insert: which, under any provision of this Act, is expressly required to be satisfied by the issue of stock. This, again, is an Amendment in anticipation of the Committee's accepting the new Clauses with which we shall be dealing later. This particular Clause deals with British electricity stock and applies provisions to that stock which do not apply in the case of such companies at present.
