Mr. Medlandasked the Minister of Labour whether his attention has been drawn to the fact that labour supply inspectors, previously employed in his Department, are now unemployed and that vacancies exist in the National Insurance Department suitable for these men; and if he will instruct his officers to submit these men for consideration to the Ministry of National Insurance.
§ Mr. Ness EdwardsThere are no vacancies at present in the Ministry of National Insurance suitable for these men. Their needs are being kept prominently in mind and they will certainly be submitted for posts that may arise later in that Department or elsewhere.
