§ 55. Mr. Symondsasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will consider the introduction of a scheme whereby persons entitled to payments of Income Tax Postwar Credits may be given the option of receiving payment in the form of a special Postwar Credit issue of National Saving Certificates which can, if necessary, be held in additions to the maximum authorised holdings of any other issue.
