Mr. Parkinasked the Minister of Supply how many firms contracting at his Depot No. 121 at Aston Cross, Tewkesbury, are on a cost-plus basis; and if he will inquire into the case of at least one contracting firm who have employees at this depot unnecessary lengths of time without any work to do.
§ Mr. WilmotOnly one contractor is employed by my Department at this Depot, and he is paid a fixed management fee. I am satisfied that the work is properly supervised, and that time is not being wasted.
