Mr. George Jegerasked the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that transit camp No. 73 at Hiltingbury, Chandler's Ford, Hampshire, is not in continuous use and is mainly occupied by a maintenance staff; and whether he will arrange for this camp, or a portion of it, to be made available for local civilian housing needs.
